Bamboo forest

To get to Arashiyama, take the JR train to Saga-Arashiyama station or take the Hankyu Railway to Arashiyama Hankyu Station. There will be signs showing the way to the bamboo forest. That will also get you to the bamboo forest. Bamboo Forest is a tourist site in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. The rustling sounds caused by the wind blowing through the grove and causing the bamboo plants to sway against each other have become a part of the attraction people come to the.


One of our lasting memories of the trip is the two of us standing hand in hand gazing up at the towering bamboo grove on a fresh Kyoto morning.
